Earl Jones
President of Operations
Earl graduated from the United States Naval Academy, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics. After graduation, Earl completed flight training and earned his Wings of Gold as a Naval Aviator. Follow on tours included flying with Fleet Air Reconnaissance Squadron (VQ-3) and serving on-board the USS-John C. Stennis (CVN-74) as a Tactical Action Officer.
Upon leaving the Navy in 1999, Earl transitioned into medical manufacturing. He started out first working for Cobe Cardiovascular building custom Heart Lung Tubing sets for Coronary Artery Bypass procedures. In 2003, he moved into the Tissue Banking field. First with Regeneration Technologies Inc. managing packaging operations, BioCleanse sterilization and Bone Processing.
Earl then went on to Axogen Inc. to help launch production of the first ever Nerve Allograft. This included developing production methods and optimizing yields to maximize the gift of donation. Additionally, he has worked for Bone Bank Allografts managing Tissue Bank Operations and Tennessee Donor Services in the recovery of donated human tissue.
Prior to joining Samaritan Biologics, Earl managed operations for DCI Donor Services Tissue Bank. This included launching multiple new allograft projects, improving yields, and expanding placental processing capabilities. Earl led the design, building, qualification and move into a new state-of-the-art cleanroom facility.
Earl, his wife Sandy and two dogs live in Greenville, SC. Earl enjoys recreational traveling with Sandy, and he is involved in Spartan Racing and Competitive Rowing.
